I recently applied for a credit card through EECU. I did this through the website in a matter of minutes. And I had the answer within a matter of minutes. I just had a few follow-up questions and then I was all set. It was extremely easy to use the website. I would recommend this bank to anyone. I have been a member for about 15 years. And most of my friends and family bank with them as well.

I opened an account and funded it with a check. They told me it will take 9 days for the check to clear. In the meantime, my balance shows as -$5 because they have a $5 minimum. I linked a Schwab account to this account and it made two small deposits and then withdrew those deposits for verification. EECU charged me $34 for an overdraft fee because of the withdrawal. I had to call and wait the typical 5 to 6 minutes on hold and navigating through their phone maze to get to a person. The employees are always very helpful and polite. My complaints are their system of automatically charging an overdraft fee for an account verification, their phone maze and their bogus "we are experiencing an unusual heavy call volume." Just be honest and don't make up bogus excuses.

My experience turned-out to be anything BUT great. I did learn that by calling-in, one reaches a call-center employee--not necessarily a banker well-versed in EECU products. It appears that a visit to the facility is required to find-out about investing in A CD.

I didn't ask or expect to be given a chance to take part in a program that I didn't know about, but the staff was very helpful.

They wanted proof of lien holder for insurance. I provided that multiple times over the web and they kept rejecting it. Finally went down and proved that the car was covered and they were the lien holder. The manager of the bank still would not accept it because the letter had my name on it instead of my wife. Worst bank ever. I swore once before i would not use them and i guess i am the stupid one for going back. I talked to the manager Lori Morgan and she we not any help either. No customer service what so ever. I wish i would have never opened a CD with them !

A lot of things have changed since I became a member over 30 years ago. The amount of employee at the Weatherford Branch seems to have dwindled over the years as a result of online banking. This is probably the case at all branches. The things that remain are the skilled senior employees. At least two at my local branch continue to provide fast, courteous and prudent service. Like a my favorite watering hole, these two people keep it all together and always know my name and face no matter how little I actually see them over the last few years. I love my EECU!

I was looking to apply for a credit card, EECU made it very easy to do so, right over the phone. I was receiving emails from Regina and decided to call and in a few hours, I was approved! She also took the necessary steps to verify my identity, which is extremely important when applying for credit online/via phone.

I refinanced my car through EECU. The rates were great...almost half of what other banks were offering. And the PERSONAL service was great too. I actually sat down with a live person who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. EECU is a throw-back to the days of real customer service as opposed to on-line headaches...(although the EECU website could be a little easier).

Went to the Saginaw location on 8/15/22. My husband and I made an appointment online to open an account for our business. There was a note stating to check in with the teller which we did. We waited less than 5 minutes and spoke with Rosa. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to look up information she needed to complete our application. We had the account opened and funded, as well as paperwork signed in about 30 minutes. She even answered my question about an auto loan. She spoke softly and I’m very glad because it’s a small branch and we could hear another rep at a different desk talking a bit too loud to a customer on the phone. He doesn’t know how much his voice carries. I appreciated Rosa’s discretion.

Every time I call, someone answers the phone and helps me, or someone calls me back and every question I have has been answered...customer service is great, but the financial service is A1. I am considering moving my saving acct to EECU, I am very pleased with the service. Ashlea Torres help this last time and she was informative, honest, fast and did exactly what she said she would.
