helpful and courteous

I used the Northwest Branch more than usual about 6 months ago. People were helpful, asking questions of each other so that they could resolve issues as they arose. I went there today too for more routine business, and I had no problem.

Ive never has any problems

Ive never has any problems! the people always give me a great answer to my questions and I have had a number of questions. the new Identityiq was confusing to me and my wife. and your staff had not been train on the system they were but they were able to get thru the problems we were having with signing up

Great atmosphere

Great atmosphere. So pleasant and relaxed you could almost forget you're in a bank. Clerks are thorough and helpful. I left feeling very good about becoming a member.

3 steps plus phone tag to open account

The website says 3 steps to open an account but neglects the fourth step of a week of phone tag with Sara. Since it’s not our first account not sure why this call is needed. To avoid this delay just use the secure message platform or if a verbal confirmation really is needed for some reason make an appointment.

Excellent examples of community

This company does not just excel at banking, they go above and being as members of a community making every person feel like they are part of a banking family. Some of the best examples of human beings work at Great Basin Federal Credit Union and I love them for it.

Helpful Friendly Professionals

When I make my choice regarding with whom I do business, friendliness coupled with genuine caring for Customers is equally as important to me as the knowledge and professionalism required to please clients as exacting and demanding as I am. A sense of humor is required.

Perhaps the most important thing to me…

Perhaps the most important thing to me is that I've never been sent on some time- devouring, wild goose chase because someone at Great Basin either gave me the wrong info or didn't feel like doing their job. Big thumbs up to the staff at GBFCU! Oh, AND these guys were the ONLY bank to approve the loan for my dream truck!!! 😁 Thank you Great Basin!

Automatic Payments

I like almost everything about Great Basin except the original setup of my automatic car payment. I thought that since I set everything up online as per instructions everything was good. But apparently not, I had to call customer service to find out why my payment had not been debited. They took care of it for me, apparently, I didn't understand the instructions completely. Or, they weren't clear, which I feel they weren't.

entirely more professional than most in NV

GBFCU has always been entirely more professional and has higher integrity than most businesses in NV. That's not a high bar, but at least they're helping to raise it. My only complaint is that they do not update you when their app is no longer supported for your computer OS.

Great Service

We went to another credit union to open an account anddeposit a large check. At first we were basically ignored and then told to come back the next day. Our daughter recommended Great Basin CU and we were greeted and taken care of. A world of difference.

I recently opened an additional account…

I recently opened an additional account and the service was stellar! I just tore my office apart looking for the young man's name who helped Me! I can't find it and I always write down a name. I'm guessing it was John or Dan? This gentleman needs recognition for His patience and ability to explain things in a perspective anyone could understand. His follow through and attention to detail is what is missing in way too many business's today. He also explained to Me the method of what I will be encountering when I purchase/select an online digital Stock Platform, most helpful Person I have had the pleasure of doing business with. I must add the entire Credit Union are always at the same level. Much appreciated and look forward to many more years at Great Basin Credit Union. Thanks, Mitchell Bruns(aka David).

I’ve been a family member since 2006 and they have been very friendly, helpful, loyal and trustworthy not like other banks that were stealing from me. That’s why I have many years banking with them and many more to come. Thank You So Much for your great business GBF Credit Union!!!

Great Service all the Time

Ruth and I are always treated very well whenever we visit the branches. Everyone treats us with great respect always with a smile on their face. We take advantage of as many services as we can and all of them are great for our banking needs. Management should be very proud of themselves and their employees, all of which are very dedicated and friendly people

I requested a high yeild bank account…

I requested a high yeild bank account when i opened my account. I was given a free checking account. I was also told that this bank pays when deposits are pending and I have had multiple situations where I was not paid until the following monday instead of friday like I am supposed to.

Sluggish loan process

Sluggish loan process, makes using cu for purchase clumsy. I really dislike the "if you get a better offer, we will beat it gimmick." Just give me the best rate you can. Hard credit checks to find rate for are not conducive to maintaining good credit standing. Overall not very competitive.

Starting over again

Starting over again, GB helped me with my mortgage and switching account in my name. Thanks to Missy and her staff, I always tell my friend’s that if they want good care and respect move to Great Basin federal Credit Union.

We have had several loans through Great…

We have had several loans through Great Basin and they are always seamless from start to finish.

Francicso is amazing! He is very efficient, thorough and always so easy to talk to.
He is friendly, professional, kind and is a wealth of knowledge! He calls you back when he says he’s going to and if he’s not able to make contact with you, he follows through the next day! His customer service is top notch!

Great Basin is wonderful all the way around as we have never had anything but very positive experiences with them!
