Had to call customer service

Had to call customer service, there is a glitch with the website, it will not allow the use of rewards points for transaction discount. But the customer service rep was very helpful, kind and helped me with my transaction.
Please fix the website, so customers can use their rewards points!!

Improvement!

5 months ago I couldn't send more than $200 at a time to 10 separate university scholarship students in Panama. I tried to get an explantation from WU but CS said it was "confidential". The $5000 limit clearly didn't work for me. It did today!

Western Union allows me to connect with my mentally ill son who lives in an FMC. He's able to use these funds to purchase snacks, deodorant, soda, and many other items that we all take for granted every day.

I had to cancel one of my transactions…

I had to cancel one of my transactions because I had selected the wrong recipient. The WU employee was courteous, efficient, and very helpful. My transaction was cancelled and the amount returned to my bank account within two or three minutes.

I've been doing business with you for over 10 years now I would have give you five stars except for the fact that you're new system of verification sucks. It's really a pain in my ass when I need to send money and I have to do a whole bunch of extra phone calls

I never received my refund

I never received my refund. I sent money last December but I have to cancel it because the recipient didn’t have the proper ID to get the money. 7 months later I still haven’t received my refund. Customer service was also unhelpful. So if you really have to use their services make sure you have the recipient have proper Identification.

Once again… problems with the rewards…

Once again… problems with the rewards system. I have points, and they won’t let me use them for over two months now. Called customer support, and she couldn’t figure it out, so she sent it to upper people to make sure I’m right! Only been using this service for years now, and feel taken advantage of. Also, don’t do online transfers thinking it will be quicker, they wait until the very last day and second to pull the money. Western union has gone downhill. Un-happy loyal customer.

Money is delayed for 6 days

It's good that this service is available online, but the WORST thing is, the money is not available right away. For example, today is July 7th and then it says that the money will not be available until July 13th! Why? Where is the money being used and getting stuck all this time. For 6 days?

Fees for using CC's

Fees for using CC's. They are way too high. Granted I understand CC's charge Western a fee for accepting their form of payment. I feel Western is adding way too much on top of those fees. Makes me want to start to look for alternatives. And I am.

WESTERN UNION IS FRAUDULENT!!

WESTERN UNION IS FRAUDULENT!!! YOU FALSELY ADVERTIZE REWARDS POINTS GAINED BY CUSTOMERS BUT NEVER GRANT THEIR USE. ON MY LAST TRANSACTION THE AGENT, HAMZA, SAID HE WOULD CONTACT TECH SUPPORT TO CREDIT ME BACK $3 FOR THE FEE, BUT NEVER DID. ALL ATTEMPST TO USE THE REWARDS POINT DID NOT WORK. ON THIS TRANSACTION YOU DIDN'T EVEN OFFER ME THE OPTION TO USE MY REWARDS POINTS TO PAY FOR THE FEE. I WILL REPORT WESTERN UNION TO THE FTC AND MASSACHUSETTS CONSUMER PROTECTION OFFICE!!!

Transfer of $2,900 was blocked and the…

Transfer of $2,900 was blocked and the clerks can't fix my problem..
I've been on the phone for over an hour. It is very annoying, especially because this is would be the 9th transfer to the same person with the same address in the same country.
Additionally the amount of money sent was under the cap rate Western Union listed.
NOW my daughter doesn't have the money she needs.

I been trying to send money through…

I been trying to send money through Western Union, but everytime I get money return in my account..... Everytime when I try to contact they say it's the problem of The Bank Partner Compliance!!! 👎
