Not worth the time

Opened CD account with funding account provided.
Money never got transferred and the new CD account was closed. Wasted time to contact customer service a few times to be assured that I could log on to online account by certain day. This bank won't allow you to create online account immediately after your account opening.

Nice touch by Bank5 Connect

Update to below: A Bank5 manager called me the next day and apologized for the misunderstanding. She promised to update my CD and she already had when I checked. That's positive approach to customer service. And it shows people are paying attention to Trustpilot.

Bank5 raised the rate of the 6 month CD about a week after I opened one. They will not agree to roll my CD into the new rate.
Also no one got back to me after I made this request- I called back on 6/23.

Buying CD online

Your website claims it is easy to purchase a CD online. I did not find that to be the case. I would get as far as transferring funds through plaid and then it would loop me back through the steps again. This was a Sunday that I tried to purchase the CD so I was unable to call directly so had to wait until next day to call.

Opening a new CD with funds in Bank5

The Bank5 employees' who assisted me were very friendly and helpful. I do think when opening a new CD the process should include the option that Bank5 funds can be used to open a new CD.

I was opening a checking account to…

I was opening a checking account to compliment my savings account. After completing the application, hearing nothing, I called to confirm they had my application. Gave the gentleman all my identifying information, he was able to tell me what was missing. Some of the items didn’t make sense as I am already an account holder.
Confirmed my information and options, verified I would receive a debit card. To date: no debit card received.
I would have appreciated a more seamless experience to add an account to my existing array of accounts.

The CSR agent was exceptional

The CSR agent was exceptional. She may have been the best customer service experience that I have ever had in my life. That's how good she was. Please make sure she gets a commendation.

Today I opened a card in this bank and…

Today I opened a card in this bank and I want to say that I have never seen such a service as in Bank5 Connect. The staff is so polite, the consultant with whom we processed the documents answered all my questions and, in general, the card was issued instantly. I thank him for such professionalism.

Increased deposit limit

I called because I needed to increase my mobile deposit limit. It was a large amount, because it was an inheritance check. The employee I spoke with was forthcoming and told me that the amount I needed was above his limit, so he needed to get a supervisor. He kept me informed and was courteous.

Quick resolution of our concern

Quick resolution of our concern and I was walked through the transactions step by step. I appreciated being able to video conference with a team member who could verify my identity and complete the transaction in real time with me.

Beneficiary Limitations

Beneficiary Limitations. I had to pull all my money out because of your restrictive Beneficiaries (POD) policy: A trust cannot be the beneficiary. Limit to only 1 beneficiary. So, if you have 2 or more kids you'd like to leave money to upon your death, you're out of luck.
