Pain opening business account

Because I was trying to open an account for my HOA it was a bit of a pain. Don’t know why they needed my SS number when opening it for them. Should have been fine with their TIN

LOB REALLY understands the Wealth…

LOB REALLY understands the Wealth Management space so that helps the underswriting process go much more smoothly. Would have received a 5 Star if it wasn't for a NY State tax we owed because of the lien on one of the partners homes that LOB didn't anticipate and set our expectations.

From day 1

From day 1, it was an awesome experience from Vance. He really knew the poultry business inside and out. Then it moved to Nancy Revis, and I think that woman is a rockstar. She contacted me until midnight most days going above and beyond for us. Then Weston Holley took awesome care of us, then grace and Nancy McCann were wonderful. When I expand again no doubt will I use live oak again.

Absolute Amateurs

Awful. Ive been locked out of my account for months. Every time i call, its the same thing. "We need tk reset your acccount" and every time, it doesnt work. Im worried that i wont even be able to pull my funds out or close my account. Go with another bamk, these guys are amateurs

Cant wait to refinance

Would never do business with this bank again. If you have any other option utilize them before Live Oak. Staff is poorly trained, communication is lacking and make sure you do not believe the loan acceptance package especially when it comes to the interest rate.

Great Savings Rate & Customer Service

As a longtime savings customers, I appreciate the great interest rates they offer. Much better than the 0.10% my credit union offers. Plus, my money is safe and easy to access unlike many online banks. If you do ever need help, the service is awesome. You can reach an actual person in the U.S. & they're responsive. Best customer service and rates

We opened an account about two years ago and absolutely love this bank. They have some of the highest yeilding cds and savings accounts around. Whenever we call we get excellent customer service from extremely talented real people, not machines.

At the recommendation of my husband

At the recommendation of my husband, I opened an account with Live Oak. Set up the info to be able to transfer money from two accounts at two different banks (using a customer service rep). When we received an email that one of the transfers could not be funded for insufficient funds, we found the young man had linked my husband's account to my savings account and removed my husband's name from both of our joint accounts. In over 50 years of banking, we have never had such a horrendous mess to untangle with any bank. What a mess!

Construction company acquisition

This was my first business acquisition, requiring significant financing. It is a bewildering, complex frustrating process. Live Oak Bank was the exception to all of the other parties/processes involved with this acquisition. Their personnel were responsive, very friendly and most of all answered questions very quickly and on a lot of occasions, well after business hours. Confidence, trust, partner are the first three words that come to mind when I described them.
