The quirky ambience and layout has an underlying functionality that works as a holiday home. Hot tub, deck , master bedroom and rear aspect are its best features. As for places to visit, eat or drink..there is plenty of choice depending on how far you want to drive and how strong the pull to just "not do a lot" on at Cart Lodge is. Provision of kitchen utensils/crockery/food prep items inadequate - Host made aware.

Woodpecker Cottage is Huge & really well equipped with all you'll need for a relaxing peaceful stay. Set in gorgeous countryside with both Red Kites & buzzards flying over every morning whilst sat having your morning cuppa on the patio with stunning views all around. Its a great base to access both the Brecon Beacons as well as Sugar Loaf Mountain & a gentle walk along the riverbank or nearby canal for a more relaxing stroll. There's a Village Pub just down the road that serves Massive meals & has a room dedicated to Yorks drift. Its really is ideally located for a chilling week away with all the facilities you have at home.

We had a lovely time in our holiday cottage very clean and comfortable. In walking distance to the harbour which we did everyday….
Also handy to drive from and visit all the amazing beaches etc near to Amble..,
A few slight tweaks to make it better would be a fridge with freezer compartment as we like our ice in drinks.
Full length mirror in bedroom and a mirror in back bedroom…
A smart TV as husband likes his usual viewing even on holiday 🤗

The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. Booking and getting into the flat was easy and it’s good that holiday cottages check you have got in OK Via txt.The locality is great for a number of walks, near to the coast and Wooler is a nice small town with everything you might need including a couple of good cafes, co-op and excellent Italia restaurant which does takeaways.

A beautiful property located within walking distance of Brixham harbour. Light and airy rooms with lovely decor, equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Brixham itself is a beautiful fishing town and conveniently located just 5 miles or so from both Paignton and Dartmouth.
The home from home touches make this a perfect choice for couples and families alike.

A fab location and lovely hosts. Beautiful site, great for dogs and excellent levels of cleanliness and comfort. Amazing scenery to enjoy the lovely hot tub! Close access to Wales and surrounding walks. Main supermarket in Hereford only 5 mins drive. Highly recommended.

We spent a lovely week at Little Flores cottage
Excellent location - very close to to everything Seahouses has to offer
Cottage was more spacious than we expected with plenty of space in every room
Shower was not as powerful as the one we have at home but if you adhered to guidelines in bathroom we found it adequate

We find Holiday Cottages well organised and always helpful.
There was a bit of confusion in the arrival instructions, citing two different times (3.00 pm and 5.00 pm) and lack of clarity as to whether the postcode 'worked' with satnav.
Otherwise ...a great holiday and we hope to book again next year.

This site has several associated sites. I was looking for a pet friendly break. Found one that looked like it fitted the bill, until I started the booking process.
AFTER entering all my personal details it came up with an extra £20 to take a pet. I wouldnt have an issue if it was clear from the outset that pets would be charged, many do charge extra & that is fine, but this one only comes up with AFTER they have all your details.

Great customer service, all arrival instructions received and were clear. When I needed to call during our stay with an issue, problem was dealt with quickly and we were kept informed at all stages. They were extremely helpful. Accommodation was lovely and well appointed and website description was accurate.
Would definitely use this company again.

A lovely lodge in a quiet, peaceful & rural setting. All you could possibly want for 4 adults, well appointed & maintained. Perfect location even with the changeable weather. A very comfortable base.

Well placed for walking to the local pubs and into the nearest town for further supplies and cafes/shops. We found the opening picture of the cottage a little deceptive as we rather thought we'd be able to see the hills behind from the inside of the property or from the back garden, unfortunately, no rear windows nor back garden.

Beautiful house with large immaculately kept gardens, positioned away from the main roads so you felt like you were living in the middle of the countryside.
The house has 3 large double bedrooms and has modern bathrooms and kitchen .
Ideal location for visiting the Peak District meaning we didn’t have to travel more than 15-30 minutes to explore this beautiful national park

Just back from amazing week in the hazel lodge, the lodge is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need and finished to a very high standard the beds are so comfy. The views from the lodges are fantastic over looking the pond the hosts Fiona and Robin are so lovely and are on hand if you need anything, this is one of our favourite places and can’t wait to come back next year with some of our family .

Wonderfully furnished, clean, well equipped house. Quiet location but easily accessible to local attractions. Thoroughly recommend. But lots of steps between down stairs rooms - so may be difficult for the infirm/disabled

The description of the accommodation was so honest, a few times it said pool was unheated, the owners were welcoming and gave us privacy but were there if we needed them. The property was rural but we were on a farm in the countryside, the swallows were so elegant bobbing and weaving so gracefully in the air and loads of red kites swirling around in circles looking for their prey. No pot holes in the roads and fluent roads where you can actually drive your car with no hindrance of traffic lights.

I stayed at the lantern view for 8 nights and i can confidently say that its the most welcoming guest house ever in whittely bay! My family and i really enjoyed staying at this house, not only it's clean, well-furnished and provides the essential stuff you'll need but it also has an amazing geographical location. You will also get the best view ever and it is a few steps from the beach. Further, there is a car park. Finally, the price is really worth it. Best stay ever.

A very peaceful and relaxing stay in the heart of the country! The Sheltons are a few cottages in the beautiful village of Great Snoring in North Norfolk. Ours was for a couple, small but very well equipped. The parking is good, the dog welcome and we had a lovely holiday
