I requested boarding services on the Wag! website. I did not have app downloaded on my phone at the time and was never notified that this was a requirement. As of 2 days prior to my vacation, I had no communication from Wag! other than a text that they may not be able to find a boarder for med. Therefore, an alternate boarder was found elsewhere. Less than 24 hours prior to requested start date, Wag! sent text notification that caregiver assigned and trying to contact me through app. A few hours later, another text notified me that they cancelled services, but I was still charged $463.39 for boarding that never happened because the services were cancelled by THEM 24 hours prior. Of course, I would never agree to this price to begin with and would have cancelled within the timeframe for a full refund if I had known. Wag! was contacted and refunded only $185.35 even though they knew that I had not received the communication from the caregiver and no knowledge of the assignment. Contrary to claims made by reviews left by unpaid caregivers who actually perform a service, Wag! claimed to pay the caregiver assigned to me even though no service was provided, and no communication had been received from me. Apparently, they assign a caregiver without the pet owner being allowed to personally communicate with the caregiver or knowing the total costs to ensure a good fit. I will never use this service again and would never recommend this service. I am sure that some have had good experiences but so much could go wrong for pets and pet owners when you are expected to just hand over your pet to just anyone and pay whatever price they choose. Who wouldn't want to get to know and have the opportunity to discuss your pet with the person who you are entrusting them with. These practices should be illegal. Such a shame because this has the potential to be a great resource for pet owners.

Don't be fooled by the mod branding; this is not a good company. I can't imagine they will be around for the long run. First of all, some of these good reviews are clearly fake. (See the "retired grandma who absolutely adores her Cavelier spaniel" and writes like a Maev marketing manager) yeah right... They don't offer the option to cancel your subscription on your online account. Live chat doesn't work either. This is a dark/deceptive practice that they clearly decided to implement to reduce churn. It's a huge "f' you" to customers. It signals that they are willing to trap customers in a $250 a month subscription just to meet their numbers. Amazon was just sued for a similar practice with Prime. Major, major ick. On top of that, the product comes in a small boat's worth of insulation material. I've never felt like such an environmental monster as when I was throwing all this out. Lastly, it's pretty inconvenient. It takes up your ENTIRE freezer. You have to wash the bowl out after each feeding. And it's a huge serving size (8 cups for my dog). This makes it really hard to send to the boarding/daycare facility.

I had issues with my dog's collar which the team did everything they could to get it fixed, when they realized there was a problem with the collar they immediately shipped a new collar. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and the customer is their highest priority.

The breeders were very kind. When we picked up our puppy, we were greeted by both parents. Very well taken care of and loving and nurturing of their pups. It is so nice to see this and know that all the pups are very well taken care of. Thank you for providing us with this beautiful member of our family!

The trainer Jose was excellent, it gave me great pleasure to see how patient he was with my pup Love. Her social skills, leash walking and confidence were a concern. After observing Jose via video and other communication I truly made the right choice for Puppy Love. I highly recommend Dogwise Academy and would use them again.
